1. Information We Collect
SpendInbox processes emails that are sent to the SpendInbox-assigned email address you receive after signup. These emails typically include invoices, receipts, and order confirmations from merchants.
2. How We Use the Information
- Extract transaction details such as merchant name, amount, date and items.
- Organize invoices into categories to provide personal spending insights.
- Allow export of data where the user asks for it (feature coming soon).
3. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not access your primary Gmail, Outlook or other inboxes — only emails delivered to your SpendInbox address are processed.
- We do not sell personal data to third parties.
- We do not use third-party tracking for advertising.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your invoice data. Access is restricted and logged.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You may request deletion of your SpendInbox data or account at any time. Deletion instructions and a contact email are provided below.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post an updated effective date and summary of changes.
